F.A.Q
What is AVA Studios and what is a photo studio??AVA Studios is a collection of specially designed houses and spaces created for GPose and screenshot enthusiasts. Each studio offers unique backgrounds, scenery, and environments to help bring your creative ideas to life.Is it free to use?Yes, it is completely free and will always be free. All AVA Studios locations are free to visit and use at any time. Feel free to explore and take as many screenshots as you like. Can I use mods? You're welcome to use both SFW and NSFW mods, there are no restrictions. AVA Studios is all about creativity and giving you the freedom to create the screenshots you envision. The use of Lalafell races in a explicit way will be not tolerated, so please post and use accordingly.Where can I find the locations? How do I get to them? You can find the locations on the carrd or here on discord.I'm on another Data Center. Can I still visit?Yes. Most of the studios are located in starting cities, making them easy to access after travelling to the appropriate Data Center. If you're having trouble reaching a specific location, feel free to send a message and I can help you. You can also just make a level 1 character on the starting world as the studio and unlock teleports and walk straight to the housing area. Can the lighting be changed? If you're planning a specific screenshot and feel that the lighting is too bright or doesn't fit your idea, send me a message! I'll try to help with adjusting the light for your shoot.Do you take tips or donations? How do you make a profit from the studios?I do not take donations, I would rather have you spend that elsewhere or help someone else in need. There is no profit in decorating and paying for furniture in the house, I either pay designers or design the houses myself.Who owns AVA Studios? Who can I contact for help?AVA Studios is owned by Avalon Ulysses and was created for the community and everyone who enjoys taking beautiful screenshots in FFXIV. Should you need help, then feel free to send me a message in-game or on discord.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS
What I am looking for?
I own GPOSE studios that focus less on a traditional, homey feeling and more on individual booths and unique photography spaces. Because of that, the layouts are a little different from a typical house. The studios will be free and publicly available for everyone to use once they are finished. If you are interested, feel free to take a look around my carrd to get an idea.
Minimum number of booths & backdropsA minimum of 7-8 booths is required, but the more the better. The exact number can be discussed if a particular booth is especially complex or requires significantly more space.Housing slot utilizationAll available housing slots should ideally be utilized to maximize the house's potential. Even if there are only around 20 item slots remaining, there may still be room to squeeze in an additional booth somewhere.Creative freedomI'm looking for something creative, unique, and original, rather than a 1:1 recreation of one of my previous houses. I'm happy to discuss ideas throughout the process and provide feedback or a second opinion whenever needed. Please take the flooring as well as the exterior in consideration too, they also matter and can play a big part in pictures.Item availabilityNot every item may be obtainable, particularly certain Bozja items. However, if there are specific items needed for the design, please let me know, and I can always look into whether I'm able to acquire them.Theme & use of spaceThe overall themes are completely up to the designer(s). If you need inspiration or would like suggestions, I'm more than happy to provide ideas, although I generally don't have anything specific in mind from the beginning. Depending on the size and complexity of the design, we will likely want to make use of as much of the house as possible, but this will ultimately depend on how much space each concept requires.Guestbook & designer creditsA guestbook setup is mandatory. A simple desk with the guestbook is perfectly fine, though adding a lamp would be a nice touch. The guestbook and/or placard will usually include your carrd or portfolio, allowing visitors to see who designed the house. These are the only places where the designer's information will be shared.
